Dick’s Sporting Goods is a new end-cap retail store consisting of approximately 45,000 gross framed square feet. The one story building utilizes a structural steel and bar joist framing system supported by spread foundations. The store is located on Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia.
MCE Scope of Work
Meyer Consulting Engineers functioned as the structural engineer of record for the shopping center. Our work spanned the schematic, construction document, and construction administration phases. MCE deliverables consisted of large scale Cadd drawings and manuscript structural specifications. Computer aided design software was utilized in the design process
Construction was completed in the fall of 1998 at a cost of $3,400,000.
