Project Description
Size & Type of Project –Airport Hangar Complex
The project consisted of the construction of a new prefabricated steel building gymnasium addition. The addition included a steel framed connector building to the existing school, slab on grade and typical spread foundations. The project also included the relocation of the existing modular units.
Scope of Services
Meyer Consulting Engineers is functioning as the Special Inspection Agency for the project. MCE utilized qualified personnel, state-of-the-art equipment, and systems to handle the special inspections and construction materials testing for this project. Our work included conducting a wide range of tests and observations performed in both on-site inspection and off-site laboratory testing of soils, cast-in-place concrete, reinforcing steel, masonry, and structural steel to determine compliance with the plans, specifications, and referenced industry standards.
