The 59/59A project site is primarily in the newly constructed utility vault and partial underground fuel vault and listed buildings at NIH. This project This project consists of an electrical switching station and emergency generators for the NEW SRLM building (Building 10)
MCE Scope of Services
Meyer Consulting Engineers is functioning as the Quality Control/Quality Assurance/Independent Inspection Agency for the project. MCE utilized qualified personnel, state-of-the-art equipment, and systems to handle the special inspections and construction materials testing for this project. Our work included conducting a wide range of tests and observations performed in both on-site inspection and off-site laboratory testing of soils, cast-in-place concrete, reinforcing steel, bituminous concrete, masonry, firestopping and structural steel to determine compliance with the plans, specifications, and referenced industry standards. Work began in April 2023 with completion in October of 2026. The construction cost was $650 Million.
