Size & Type of Project – New Mixed Use Urban Residential Development – Design Build
The Loree Grand is a new residential development having parking and retail components. Phase One has a two story underground garage with a structured plaza as well as one (1) ten-story tower and one (1) seven-story tower. The roofs of both towers will be green roofs. A portion of the first floor houses retail space. The gross framed area of the Phase One Consolidated PUD equals approximately 311,363 gross framed square feet. The project was named after of longtime Northeast resident and community activist Mrs. Loree Murray.
The building features more than 700 residential units, approximately 78 affordable housing units, a child daycare center, a half acre central plaza and green design.
MCE Scope of Services
Meyer Consulting Engineers Corporation was the Structural Engineer of Record. Our scope included the schematic, design development, construction document, bidding and construction administration phases. Design work for phase one began in November 2006. Phased construction commenced in November 2007 with completion in early 2010. The construction cost was $54.5 Million.
